- Provide a single point of contact
for all workers' compensation needs. Our case
managers are available through our toll-free number, accessible 24 hours/7 days a
week.
- Assist injured workers
providing a supportive and stress free environment which
helps to diffuse frustrations and eliminate costly litigation.
- Encourage early intervention
to coordinate, monitor, and manage every aspect of
treatment, ensuring that employees receive prompt care.
- Are all Registered Nurses
with five years of workers compensation
experience focusing solely on occupational injuries, triaging cases to determine the
appropriate level of intervention.
- Provide open lines of communication with all
parties involved which helps to decrease costs, eliminate fraud, control abuse, decreases
litigation and ensure that injured workers are returned to work as soon as medically
appropriate.
- Utilize treatment guidelines
to assist in the concurrent utilization review
process.
- Involve the Medical Director
to provide guidance and peer-to-peer review when
appropriate.
