VOCATIONAL DEPARTMENTThe CompServices Vocational Department
provides a full range of vocational services by certified vocational rehabilitation
counselors. These services include:
Vocational Evaluation -
Assessing the employee’s work history, skills,
interests, and aptitudes through interviews and research.
Transferable Skills Analysis -
Determining the employee’s residual
employability by matching the results of the Vocational Evaluation to their physical
capabilities.
Vocational Testing -
Identifying an employee’s vocational direction by
using sophisticated testing instruments.
Training -
Enhancing the employee’s residual vocational skills by a
formalized educational process.
Job Development -
Developing alternative positions either within or outside the
employer’s domain.
Job Analysis -
Facilitating the employee’s return to work by compiling
experience, training, education, and physical requirements of a job for approval by a
medical provider.
Placement -Coordinating the employee’s interests with the needs of
potential employers in order to place the employee in a position that meets their
vocational capabilities.
